Albumin-Human

One of the important globular protein essentials in the proper functioning of the human functions. It’s in the plasma of the blood which is called as serum albumin.

The albumin main plasma protein to regulate the oncotic pressure of the blood. The main carrier of hormone and nutrients to all the parts of the body.

Indication 

Hypovolemia

The Reversing hypovolemia depends largely upon its ability to draw interstitial fluids into circulation.

Administer compatible red blood cells or whole blood as quickly as possible when blood volume deficit which results of hemorrhage.

Hypoalbuminemia

cause of hypoalbuminemia can result from one or more of the following

Inadequate production

Excessive catabolism

Loss from the body

Redistribution within the body

To restore  normal plasma albumin level

Burns

Treatment of oncotic deficits in extensive burns patients

Replace the protein loss which accompanies severe burn

ARDS Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome

Interstitial pulmonary edema related to hypoproteinemia

Indicated to use with Diuretic

Nephrosis

Patients with severe nephrosis

Cardiopulmonary Bypass Surgery

Hemolytic Disease of the Newborn

Medical use 

Its produced from the liver cell of the human. Normal serum albumin level in the adult ranges from 3.5 to 5g/dL.

It’s used with the patient with

• Less blood volume
• Liver failure
• Burns and in the
• Low albumin level

It reduces the mortality of patients and improves blood pressure. It improves the secretion of the hormone and when the kidney fails albumin comes in the urine.

The blood sample sent to Laboratory investigation and the serum-albumin urine test is to perform for the patients with kidney diseases

Compositions

Albumin (Human) 25% Sodium Flexbumin 25% each 100ml contains

25 Grams of albumin from venous plasma in the buffered diluent and osmotically equivalent to 500 ml of normal human plasma

Its stabilized with sodium caprylate and N-acetyl tryptophan and heated for 10 hours at 60-degree centigrade

The sodium content 145± 15 Eq/L

No preservative added to the solution

Do not use if the pack damage or IV cap opened.

Do Not use after the opening of the pack after 4 hours.

Discard partial part of users with a container.
